The New Year is coming. As expected, we all start thinking about our New Year resolutions for the upcoming year. For some people, regular exercise or losing weight is their top priority. Erase Repair not only wishes you the best in skin care but in overall health.
Your skin, like the rest of your body needs to be maintained and treated for problems throughout the year. At Erase Repair, we want to give you five New Year resolutions to take good care of your skin.
1. Get a check up by a dermatologist
Set up an appointment with your skin doctor at least once a year. A regular check-up usually involves checking the skin for spots, discoloration, moles, skin disease, skin cancer, and other unusual conditions.
2. Use mild skin moisturizers after a shower
A mild moisturizer is best for your skin. Applying moisturizer on the damp skin can help maintain softness and smoothness.
3. Do skin exfoliation
Exfoliating your skin helps take away dead skin cells, helping your skin’s glow and silkiness. Choose an exfoliating product that is mild and gentle to the skin. Too much exfoliating can burn and irritate you skin.
4. Remove makeup at the end of the day
When you wear makeup, be sure to take it off at the end of the day. There are chemicals used in makeup that may not be good for your skin. Remove it with a damp towel or wipes, and then wash your face with a mild soap
5. Eat healthy, drink more water, and exercise
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle helps the skin stay smooth, silky, and glowing. Diet plays a critical part. It is recommended to eat more fruits and veggies as they are rich in Vitamins A, C, E, and Omega.
Also, drink at least eight, twelve-ounce glasses of water a day to stay hydrated, preventing flakiness and dryness. And don’t forget exercise. It promotes proper blood circulation, which can be essential for a healthy skin.
At Erase Repair, your beautiful, healthy skin is our top priority. Make your skin a #1 resolution this New Year.
